The new lens I bought happens to qualify as macro because of how far it can zoom in on an object and still maintain focus. I took the kids out back to play this afternoon, but neither one of them was interested in posing for me. I got exactly one shot of my daughter before she starting trying to eat grass and crawl away at every opportunity:
So, I found other subjects to photograph, taking full advantage of the lens' "macro" capabilities! On a side note-- I really think someone needs to mow our lawn (and that the "someone" is not me!).
